Ski and Ride for a Cure!
The American Cancer Society needs participation in beating our biggest rival (cancer) and it takes more than breakthrough research. Hope on the Slopes is a team and individual ski and snowboard event benefiting the American Cancer Society. Participants will engage in a friendly competition for awards and prizes in two categories: Dollars Raised and/or Vertical Feet.
Swing by The Retreat to find ACS information on cancer prevention and early detection.
A staggering fact is that 50% of all men and 1/3 of all women who are alive RIGHT NOW will be diagnosed with cancer at some point in their lives. A lot of progress has been made but there’s more work to be done and that’s why the American Cancer Society and events like Hope on the Slopes exists. One day, we’ll be able to say we beat cancer. But to make that happen, it’s going to take all of us working together. A big part of the work is FUNdraising and Hope On The Slopes is made possible by the support of sponsors, teams, donors, and volunteers.
