Peek'n Peak to Launch Aerial Adventure Course on Friday May 23rd 5/18/2014

Clymer, NY (MAY 16, 2014) –Peek’n Peak Resort will be holding a press conference and ribbon cutting ceremony for their brand new $1.2 million Aerial Adventure Park on Friday, May 23rd at 10am.  The park, which features 69 obstacles to challenge agility, strength and balance within 8 courses of varying difficulty, will open to the public Friday at 2:00pm.  

“The Aerial Adventure Course is simply fun.  It’s just another way we continue to make Peek’n Peak a four seasons resort”  said Nick Scott Jr., vice president and CEO of Scott Enterprises.  

The 8 courses include 13 ziplines, tight ropes, ladders, foot bridges, swings, seesaws and other obstacles to push limits, conquer fears and build self confidence for people of all ages. The course is located in the trees between the Nottingham Notch and Finsbury Field ski slopes, just above the Sugar Shack.  

The Sugar Shack will serve as the hub for the new Peak Mountain Adventures Park which will also include Segway Tours, Miniature Golf, Ultimate BungY trampolines as well as side by side, DUAL ziplines totaling 2,000 feet. THE MOUNTAIN ZIPLINES ARE CURRENTLY UNDER CONSTRUCTION AND WILL OPEN IN JULY. 

Each participant is outfitted with a full body harness that connects to an “always-locked” climbing system keeping the climbing harness securely attached to the safety line at all times.  All participants must complete a brief safety training course led by our professional climbing staff prior to entering the Aerial Adventure Course.

The new Aerial Adventure Course will create over 40 new JOBS” said Nick Scott, Sr.

The park will be officially open to the public on Friday, May 23, from 2pm, until 10pm.  Hours of operation for the remainder of Memorial Day weekend are:  Saturday (5/24), Sunday (5/25) and Monday (5/26), from 10am – 10pm.  The Adventure Course will be open weekends from May 30 – June 11th as follows:  Fridays and Saturdays, 10am – 10pm and Sundays, 10am – 6pm.  After June 11th, the park will be open daily from 10am – 10pm. Daily rates for a three hour session are $44 for adults (ages 12 and over), with varying lesser rates for children ages 5 – 11.  Group rates are also available.
