Saturday March 8th marks day 100 of the 2013/2014 Ski season for Peek’n Peak. Last season day 100 was not reached until April 1, 2013. Cold temperates and the lake-effect region getting numerous snow storms have kept the conditions prime for skiers and snowboarders this year.
The resort has experienced 2 of it’s biggest days (in skier count) since 2009; the first being Saturday February 15th of presidents weekend and the second being last Saturday, March 1st.
Peek’n Peak is the only resort in the region to offer Spring Rates this early in March. Lift tickets are up to 35% off in-season rates.
“The resort has experienced a lot of timely snow storms that have kept our conditions perfect for skiing all season long. The cold temperatures allowed us to create a base that will last us until April. “ Said Brad Gravink, Director of Mountain Operations at Peek’n Peak.
