Since 1964, Peek ‘n Peak Resort has been recognized in the North East region as an all seasons family destination.  The Resort is comprised of 105 acres, 27 slopes and 4 Terrain Parks with varying difficulties.  Travelers from PA, OH, NY and Canada visit the resort for affordable recreation, such as: Snow Sports (Ski/Board/Terrain Park/Tubing), Golf, Adventure Park, Spa and Events.   We’ve established generations of enthusiasts who love the beautiful location, rustic charm, learn to “ski and ride” programs and legendary snow conditions. The Market Research Analyst is responsible for enhancing customer loyalty with strategic direction and marketing analytics to Scott Enterprises properties with a focus on Peek ‘n Peak Resort and Splash Lagoon Indoor Water Park.

  • Plan, implement and deliver Customer Relations Management strategies across company owned brands to create awareness, enhance value, drive profit, solve problems and promote customer loyalty/retention.  
  • Utilize various technology platforms/databases to analyze customer requests and proactively offer insight to improve the customer issues and challenges.  Drive consumer engagement and build relationships on social media and other emerging platforms, including: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Your Tube, Vimeo, Pinterest, Vine, Blogs, Yelp and Trip Advisor.  
  • Perform consistent follow up on every issue to ensure complete satisfaction and maximum utilization of the product or services sold to customers.  Contact clients and guests via phone, email or meeting to ensure they are satisfied with purchased products/services.
  • Learn existing systems and make recommendations for a CRM Platform/Tools that will work seamlessly across organizations to capture required information and key points in the customer lifecycle, including: record keeping of customer information, tracking activity, generating pipeline reports and analyzing business opportunities.
  • Develop and implement standards for ensuring customer satisfaction, dependence and patronage.  Test CRM Strategies to guarantee to most impactful approach for company.
  • Ensure CRM Database is segmented effectively for tailored marketing activities and that it provides an effective sales funnel for return on investment determined using key performance indictors/metrics.
  • Partner with the Marketing, Sales, Reservations, Management and Ownership for guidance on collaborative/historical information necessary to oversee effective/personalized communications with customers, manage prospective customer relationships and maximize lifetime value strategies to increase profitability.   
  • Champion CRM changes while obtaining ‘buy in’ from key internal/external stakeholders.
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of industry trends, competitors, consumer preferences and demographics to anticipate demand and drive product, programs and planning.
  • Attend weekly Marketing, Operations and other meetings as required.

  • Expert in Marketing Campaigns, Project Planning, Database Management, Quantitative Analytics, Customer Intelligence and related software, such as:  Entopia/Ryan’s Solutions, Siriusware, Convergence, Centeredge and Sales Pro.
  • Organizational/investigative skills and high attention to detail required for fundamental oversight of customer relationship operation to ensure a satisfied clientele.  
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and leadership skills with professional demeanor/communication skills necessary to work with guests, colleagues, executive leaders and industry professionals.
  • Proven ability to complete multiple projects within deadline under pressure from competing sources.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, utlook, Internet and Social Platforms.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business or related field required.
  • Minimum 3-years of Market Rsearch or Customer Relations Management (CRM) experience or equivalent combination of education/experience is required with strong preference for candidates who have worked in a sales or marketing capacity for hospitality and/or outdoor recreation industries.

  • Periodic travel required including travel to PA & NY (100 mile radius) and various industry conferences or events
  • Frequent driving to and walking of company properties/campuses, often in inclement weather.  
  • Constant handling of objects, reaching, maneuvering and continually positioning of oneself to perform assigned tasks.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays required and willingness to flex up in scheduled work hours (based on business need).
