Since 1964, Peek ‘n Peak Resort has been recognized in the North East region as an all seasons family destination.  The Resort is comprised of 105 acres, 27 slopes and 4 Terrain Parks with varying difficulties.  Travelers from PA, OH, NY and Canada visit the resort for affordable recreation, such as: Snow Sports (Ski/Board/Terrain Park/Tubing), Golf, Adventure Park, Spa and Events.   We’ve established generations of enthusiasts who love the beautiful location, rustic charm, learn to “ski and ride” programs and legendary snow conditions. The Snow SportsDesk Team will provide exceptional customer service while answering questionsand performing accurate sales transactions for purchase of skiing/snowboardingpasses and lessons.      


  • Act as a resortambassador by providing information regarding snow programs, pricing, points ofinterest and directions.
  • Provide highlevel of customer service for every guest to create a memorableexperience.  
  • Answerquestions, find solutions and solicit feedback. If unsure of the answer – find someone who can help! 
  • Use telephoneetiquette to assist customers, take complete messages and refer inquiries tothe appropriate department.
  • Complete salestransactions using Siriusware for skiing or snowboarding passes/lessons.
  • Communicatewith Snow Sports Supervisors to determine availability based on type of lessonand time requested.
  • Operate a cashregister and/or POS system to compute sale prices, total purchases, processcash or credit payment and provide customer with proper sales receipt andchange.
  • Ensure accuraterecords of sales transactions and/or refunds in accordance with resort anddepartment polices.
  • Maintainknowledge of policies regarding payment, exchanges and security practices.
  • Completerequired paperwork, including:  salesrecords and charge card consolidations.
  • Set up displaysor arrange merchandise on counters, tables or racks to promote sales. 
  • Keep retailarea clean and free of debris by performing light housekeeping duties asassigned. 
  • Report forscheduled shift and in appropriate uniform / nametag. 
  • Abide bydepartment / resort / company policies, procedures and safety rules at alltimes.  All other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS Toperform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform eachessential duty satisfactorily.  Therequirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/orability required.  Reasonableaccommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to performthe essential functions.

  • Basic technicalskills required to operate cash register/POS system and credit card machine;prior computer experience required. 
  • Strongattention to detail to ensure accuracy of transactions in a fast pacedenvironment while handling multiple priorities with a high degree of professionalism.  
  • Verbal andwritten communication skills to interact with guests and associates at alllevels as well as read/interpret instructions or policies.  
  • Demonstrate afirm, consistent and courteous attitude in order to gain respect andcooperation of public.
  • Ability to useindependent judgment to make sound decisions that conform to department/companypolicies while resolving customer issues or as unique situations occur in theabsence of direct supervision. 
  • Desire tofunction in a team environment with a positive attitude to fully cooperate withother associates and adhere to rules/regulations to ensure successful operationof facility.


  • High school orGED equivalent preferred.
