Tyler Simpson has 13 years of experience in the food service industry. He starting his culinary journey as a line cook in 2001. In 2003, Tyler enrolled at The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York, where he earned his associates degree in Occupational Studies of Culinary Arts and his bachelor’s degree in Professional Studies of Culinary Arts Management. For his culinary externship Tyler worked at The Broadmoor, a 5-Star 5-Diamond resort in Colorado Springs, Colorado. After graduating the CIA in 2006, he worked for the nationally awarded Ashland University in Ashland, Ohio as a sous chef. In 2008 Tyler accepted the job as Executive Chef at Hueston Woods: Resort and Conference Center in College Corner, Ohio. In 2012 Tyler was promoted to Regional Chef of Hueston Woods, Shawnee and Burr Oak: Resort and Conference Centers. In 2013 Tyler was hired by Scott Enterprises as the Director of Food and Beverage for Peek’n Peak: Resort and Spa in Clymer, New York.
