    The Banquet Set-Up Shift Leader will monitor a designated shift during execution and clean up of scheduled banquet functions to ensure requirements of Banquet Event Order (BEO) are followed.  


    • Monitor a designated shift of employees during event set up, execution, tear down and cleaning procedures to ensure requirements of Banquet Event Order (BEO) are followed.  
    • Lift, transport and/or construct furniture, items for food service, audio / visual equipment, decorations and other miscellaneous requests outlined in the BEO.  
    • Operate company vehicle to move banquet equipment and furniture to various areas of the resort.
    • Maintain procedures to (1) ensure the security and proper storage of banquet inventory and equipment, (2) ensure the security of monies, credit and financial transactions, (3) replenish supplies and communicate inventory in a timely and efficient manner, and (4) to minimize misuse and breakage of china, glassware, linen and supplies and to ensure that no re-usable goods are wasted.
    • Train and monitor a designated shift of staff to guarantee all department / resort / company policies, procedures and safety rules are followed at all times.   
    • Facilitate a team environment to deliver superior customer service and ensure complete guest satisfaction.    
    • Maintain a positive, professional and respectful attitude toward guests, coworkers and management.  
    • Communicate with Banquet Set Up Supervisor and Banquet Manager to guarantee a successful function.  
    • Oversee food preparation in conjunction with the Banquet Set Up Supervisor and kitchen staff to ensure meals are delivered to the correct recipients in a timely manner following all safety and resort guidelines.  
    • Knowledge and use of proper sanitation procedures to clean banquet equipment and facilities, including restrooms.  
    • Stock service stations with items such as ice, napkins, and straws.
    • Remove trays and stack dishes for return to kitchen after meals are finished.
    • All other duties as assigned.

    • Ability to work in a fast paced environment while handling multiple priorities with a high degree of professionalism.  
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to read and comprehend oral / written instructions.
    • Capable of effective and courteous communication with guests and associates of all levels.  
    • Ability read and interpret documents such as BEO’s and procedure manuals.


    • High school diploma /GED equivalent required.
    • 1 year experience in a banquet or food and beverage role required; minimum 1 year supervisory experience preferred.
    • Valid driver’s license and approved driving record authorized through company insurance provider required.

    • Ability to work in a fast paced environment that requires constant movement.
    • Traverse or maneuver items up to 100 pounds.
    • Reaching, maneuvering, and continually positioning of oneself to perform assigned tasks.
    • Minimum commitment of 25-hours per week required.
    • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays required and willingness to flex up or down in scheduled work hours (based on business need).
