The Bell Staff will assist guests with luggage/information and operate a company vehicle to transport various materials for departments within Resort.  


  • Operate a company vehicle to transport various materials for departments such as: Hotel, Front Desk, Housekeeping, Pool, Spa and Food & Beverage.  Materials may include (but are not limited to): laundry, equipment, luggage etc.
  • Deliver room service to Hotel guests, ensuring requests handled efficiently and completed in a timely manner.  
  • Assist the Food & Beverage team with set up / tear down of brunch services.
  • Greet incoming guests and escort them to their rooms.
  • Receive and mark baggage by completing and attaching claim checks.
  • Transfer luggage, trunks, and packages to and from rooms, loading areas and vehicles by hand or using baggage carts.
  • Address guest requests and concerns immediately and always with a professional attitude.  Never says “no” to a guest request for information.
  • Supply guests with directions and information such as Resort services, points of interest, events or promotions.  
  • Maintain general cleanliness of the hallways, carpet, and all trash receptacles in and out of the Inn.
  • All other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS  To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment while handling multiple priorities with a high degree of professionalism.  
  • Must operate vehicles in accordance with Resort/Company policy and while using extreme caution.
  • Demonstrate conscientious, safe behavior and take measures to prevent damages to Resort property.   
  • Capable of effective and courteous communication with guests and associates of all levels.  
  • Aptitude necessary to read and interpret documents such as policy/procedure manuals and follow verbal instructions.
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision.


 High School or GED equivalent required.Minimum 1 year experience in a Hotel, Resort or Food & Beverage Role with driving experience strongly preferred.   


Valid driver’s license and approved driving record authorized through company insurance provider required.

  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment that requires constant movement.
  • Traverse or maneuver items up to 100 pounds.
  • Reaching, maneuvering, and continually positioning of oneself to perform assigned tasks.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays required and willingness to flex up or down in scheduled work hours (based on business need).
